Wedding photo sharing for Ahmedabad photographers

From party plots off SG Highway to farmhouses past Sanand, an Ahmedabad wedding easily runs to 8,000 photos and a thousand guests. SpotMe gives each guest only their photos from one selfie. We build it here in the city, so we can come to your studio.

At a glance

  • Made in Ahmedabad

Our whole team works out of Ahmedabad. Your first event is set up free with us, on a video call or at your studio.

  • Accurate on garba night

Face matching stays 99.99% accurate under coloured sangeet lights, in chaniya cholis and heavy jewellery.

  • The whole wedding, not a shortlist

Upload every photo. Guests download the full-resolution original or a quick 2048-pixel copy for WhatsApp.

An Ahmedabad wedding, from behind the camera

You know the shape of it. Mandap mahurat and grah shanti at home, the pithi with turmeric everywhere, mehendi in the afternoon, then a sangeet that turns into garba and dandiya until the DJ is told to stop. The next day brings the jaan, the hast melap, the pheras and a reception for everyone the family has ever met.

That is two or three days, 600 to 1,200 guests, and somewhere between 6,000 and 10,000 photos once the second shooter’s cards are in.

The old way of delivering it was a pen drive for each side and a Drive link that half the relatives never managed to open. With SpotMe you upload once, keep your folders (pithi, mehendi, sangeet, wedding, reception) and send one link. Each guest sees only the photos they are in.

The garba night is the real test

Coloured lights, fast movement, a hundred cousins in similar outfits and group photos with thirty faces in them. If face matching is going to fail anywhere, it fails here.

Ours was trained on exactly this kind of photo. It handles side profiles, dim light, bindis, nose rings and the haze from a smoke machine. Pooja Mehta tested it on nine nights of her society’s Navratri, about 11,000 photos, before trusting it with a wedding.

For lighting tips that make the matching even easier, read our guide to shooting the sangeet in low light.

Working around the Ahmedabad season

The rush starts after Dev Uthani Ekadashi, usually in November, and most studios shoot back to back until the kamurta pause in mid-December. Weddings pick up again after Uttarayan and run hard through February, with another burst of muhurats in summer. Then the monsoon goes quiet.

In peak weeks, when you have three weddings and a ring ceremony in seven days, the time saved on delivery matters most. There are no guest folders to make and nothing to forward.

The quiet months are a good time to clean up. Delete older weddings once the families have downloaded, and the space comes back for next season. See how reusable storage works.

A team you can actually meet

SpotMe is built in Ahmedabad. If you’re in the city or in Gandhinagar, we’re happy to sit with you at your studio for your first event. Elsewhere we do the same thing on a video call, which takes most photographers about half an hour.

Farmhouse weddings near Sanand or Bavla often have one bar of signal. That doesn’t matter, because guests don’t need the venue network. You upload from the studio the next evening, and if your connection drops mid-way, the upload picks up where it stopped.

What’s included that others charge for

Every plan, including Free, has all of this. You only choose how much storage you want.

  • Original files, in and out

Upload full-resolution JPEG, HEIC or TIFF. Guests download the original or a mobile copy, never a squashed preview.

Usually elsewhere:Resized to around 2,000 px, with full resolution as a paid extra

  • No limit on photos

40,000+ photos in a single upload. You pay for storage, never per photo.

Usually elsewhere:Plans priced by photo count or credits

  • Storage you can reuse

Delete an event and its space comes straight back. Upload, delete and re-upload all year.

Usually elsewhere:Used-up uploads stay used up

  • Unlimited guests and face searches

A 2,000-guest reception costs the same as a 50-guest haldi. WhatsApp OTPs are included.

Usually elsewhere:Guest caps, scan limits or per-message fees

  • Every feature on every plan

Watermark, branding, couple gallery and guest leads are on Free too. Plans only differ in storage.

Usually elsewhere:Branding and watermark locked to higher tiers

  • A real gallery for the couple

Every function in your folders, synced favourites and a people view, separate from guest galleries.

Usually elsewhere:One shared gallery with a privacy toggle

  • Our own AI, on our own servers

In-house trained models, no third-party AI providers. Guest selfies are never stored.

Usually elsewhere:Worth asking where your clients’ faces are processed

From photographers using it

  • “Three-day wedding at a farmhouse near Sanand, and the network was so bad guests couldn’t even open Instagram. I uploaded from the studio the next evening and sent one link. Even the elderly relatives managed the selfie without calling me, which honestly surprised me.”

  • “Navratri garba is chaos for face matching: 2,000 people, coloured lights, everyone in similar chaniya cholis. I tested it on our society’s nine nights, about 11,000 photos. Out of the guests who used it, one person said a photo was missing. That’s it.”

Common questions

Can your team come to our studio in Ahmedabad?

Yes. We are based in Ahmedabad, and we set up your first event free. In Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar we can do it in person at your studio, or on a video call if that’s easier.

Does it work for party-plot and farmhouse weddings with weak network?

Yes. Guests don’t need signal at the venue. You upload from your studio after the wedding, uploads resume if the connection drops, and guests open the link at home.

How many photos can I upload for one wedding?

More than 40,000 in a single upload, with your folders kept. A full three-day Ahmedabad wedding fits comfortably, including every candid.

Can I use SpotMe for Navratri garba events as well?

Yes. Garba nights, society events and corporate functions work the same way as a wedding. Each attendee takes a selfie and gets their own photos.

Where are the photos stored?

On AWS in Mumbai, in private storage. Every photo link is signed and expires after an hour, and guest selfies are never stored.
