School photos that only reach the right parents
Annual day, sports day, convocation: hundreds of children, thousands of photos, and a school that can’t post them in a public folder. SpotMe lets each family find the photos their child is in, and nobody else’s.
Free forever on 10 GB. Every feature on every plan.

At a glance
Only matched faces
A parent sees photos their child appears in. Nobody can scroll through the rest of the school.
Verified numbers
Every parent confirms their mobile number with a one-time code before a single photo loads.
No public gallery
The full set sits on a private link for the school office. Photo links are signed and expire after an hour.
Why schools stopped posting the Drive link
A shared folder of annual day photos means any parent can open every child’s photos, download them and forward them anywhere. Most schools now say no to that, and they’re right to.
With SpotMe, a parent only sees the photos their child’s face matches. There is no folder to browse and no search for someone else. The full event is on a separate private link that stays with the school.
The guest link can still be forwarded, so share it through the school’s own parent channel. Anyone who opens it has to verify a mobile number first, and even then sees only photos of the face they show the camera.
Finding one child among 2,000
On annual day, a parent is looking for one face in a row of 30 identical costumes. Scrolling 5,000 photos for that is miserable.
Instead, the parent opens the link, enters their name and mobile number, and verifies it with a code on WhatsApp (SMS as a backup). Then the child takes the selfie on the parent’s phone, with the parent right there. Older students and graduates take their own.
The match is by face, so matching uniforms and costumes don’t confuse it. Heavy stage makeup, masks or full face paint can hide a face, though, and those photos may not match. For a big group dance, the school can share the wide shots with every parent from its private link.
Convocation, where every graduate wants the stage shot
Each graduate walks up, shakes hands with the chief guest and walks off. That’s one frame per student, and every family wants it.
Graduates take their own selfie and get the stage shot, the photos with friends in gowns and the family portraits on the lawn. Parents who flew in from another city download originals at full resolution for framing, or a 2048-pixel mobile copy for the family group.
Upload after the ceremony and click Find faces. Photos don’t appear during the event, but many photographers share the link the same evening.

Farewells and alumni nights
College farewells and alumni reunions are the dressed-up nights, and the photos people actually post. Students are adults by then, so each one takes their own selfie and gets their own gallery.
Alumni often come back from Pune, Bengaluru or abroad for one evening and leave the next day. The same link reaches them wherever they are, with no app to install.

What the school office gets
The school holds the master link with every folder: each class, each performance, the prize distribution. Teachers can mark favourites for the newsletter or yearbook and choose which photos, if any, every parent should see.
You also get the list of parents who opened the gallery, with names and verified mobile numbers, plus views and downloads for each photo. Selfies are never stored, and face data is never used to train models. Photos live on AWS in Mumbai, and our face recognition runs on our own servers. Read the details on our security page.
How it works
Create the event with the school
Add folders for each class or performance, and agree who in the school office holds the master link.
Upload after the event
Upload the full set from your studio. Uploads resume if the connection drops, and folders are kept.
Click Find faces
SpotMe matches every face across the event. Nothing is visible to parents until you share the link.
Share through the school
The school sends the link on its parent WhatsApp group or circular. Parents verify their number and find their child.
Common questions
Can a parent see photos of other children?
Only photos their own child appears in, which can include classmates in the same frame, plus anything the school chooses to share with all parents. Nobody can browse the full event from the parent link.
How does a young child get matched?
The child takes the selfie on the parent’s phone, with the parent beside them. It takes a few seconds, and on the same phone they won’t need to do it again.
Are children’s selfies stored?
No. A selfie becomes a face template used only to match within that one event, and it is not kept as a photo. Face data is never used to train models.
What if someone outside the school gets the link?
They would have to verify a mobile number, and they would only see photos of the face they show the camera. The school can see every number that opened the gallery.
Is there a charge per student?
No. Every plan includes unlimited guests and face searches. A 2,000-student annual day costs the same as one class picnic.
