From the barricade to the back of the ground
Face matching needs a face it can see. At a concert, that covers far more frames than you might expect:
- Roaming crowd shots. Fans singing along, friends on shoulders, the heart-hands frame. These match very well.
- Front rows from the stage. Faces lit by the stage lights are some of the easiest matches of the night.
- Backstage and meet-and-greets. Close, well-lit and exactly what fans want to download.
- Entry gates and photo booths. Sponsors love these, and every face is square to the camera.
Where it struggles is honest physics. A wide shot of 8,000 people from the lighting tower gives each face a few pixels, so it will only match the front of the crowd. Put those frames in a folder you share with everyone instead.
Garba nights and college fests too
Navratri is the toughest test we know: 2,000 people a night, coloured lights, and half the ground in similar chaniya cholis. SpotMe matches by face, not by outfit, so the bright colours don’t confuse it.
Make a folder for each night. Upload the next day, click Find faces, and the same link picks up the new photos. A guest who opened it on night one comes back on the same phone without retaking the selfie.
College fests work the same way, whether it’s the pro night, the DJ night or the cultural fest dance-off. Students share the link in their class groups faster than any poster could.
Something to show the organiser and the sponsors
Every photo a fan downloads carries your watermark. If the organiser wants the title sponsor on every share too, design your watermark with both logos.
After the event, guest leads show how many people opened the gallery, with verified mobile numbers, and how many times each photo was viewed and downloaded. That is a real number for the sponsor deck.
One note. Fans gave their number to see their photos, not to join a mailing list, so agree with the organiser up front on how the list will be used.
12,000 photos from four shooters
Festival coverage means several photographers and a lot of cards. With team accounts, every shooter uploads into the same event under their own login, with roles you control.
A single upload can hold 40,000+ photos, and uploads resume if the venue internet drops. JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF and WebP files up to 50 MB each are fine, and the Lightroom Classic plugin lets your editor publish straight to the event.
Nothing goes out during the show. Photos reach fans once you have uploaded and clicked Find faces, which for most teams means the same night or the next morning.

Common questions
Does face matching work in concert lighting?
Yes. It handles dim light and coloured stage washes. The limit is size: a face that is only a few pixels wide in a very wide crowd shot won’t match reliably.
Can fans see their photos during the concert?
No. Photos are delivered after you upload and click Find faces. Most photographers share the link the same night or the next morning.
How many fans can use one gallery?
There is no limit. Every plan includes unlimited guests and face searches, and WhatsApp verification codes are included.
Can the sponsor’s logo appear on the photos?
Your watermark appears on every download. If the organiser wants the sponsor on it too, you can design a watermark that carries both logos.
Do fans need to install an app?
No. They open the link in their phone browser, verify their number with a one-time code, take a selfie and see their photos.
