Photo delivery for weddings that end at checkout

By lunch on the last day, the guests are back in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dubai and Toronto, and the photos are still on your drives. SpotMe sends every guest only their photos from one link, wherever they open it.

Free forever on 10 GB. Every feature on every plan.

At a glance

  • Uploads that survive hotel Wi-Fi

Start the upload in your room after the reception. If the connection drops, it carries on from where it stopped.

  • One link, every country

Guests open it in their phone browser in Jaipur or in London. Nothing to install, no separate link for the overseas side.

  • Originals, not compressed copies

Every photo is stored as you uploaded it, so the family in Singapore can print the pheras at full resolution.

The scramble starts at checkout

A three-day wedding at a palace hotel brings 300 guests together from six cities and four countries. Then it’s over in a morning. People leave for the airport before the hotel has printed their bills.

The usual fixes don’t travel well. Pen drives have to be couriered to Nairobi. A Drive folder with 9,000 photos is too much for anyone to scroll on a phone. WhatsApp squeezes every photo down to a blurry copy, and the bride’s cousin ends up forwarding 400 of them by hand.

With SpotMe there is one link. Each guest takes a selfie and sees the photos they are in, from the mehendi on the lawn to the last dance at the after-party. Our longer guide to destination wedding photo delivery covers the full workflow.

Uploading from a palace hotel or a tent in the Rann

Destination venues rarely have studio-grade internet. Hotel Wi-Fi slows down when 300 guests are on it, and some tent camps in the Rann of Kutch run on a single mobile tower.

So uploads are resumable. Start one from your room, close the laptop for breakfast, and it continues from the last photo when you reconnect. A single upload can hold 40,000+ photos, in JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF or WebP, and your folders (haldi, mehendi, sangeet, pheras, reception) are kept as they are.

When the upload finishes, click Find faces. Plenty of photographers do this on the last night and share the link before checkout. If the venue connection is truly hopeless, upload from the airport lounge or your studio the next evening. The link works the same whenever it goes out.

For the family who couldn’t make the trip

Every destination wedding has someone who stayed home: the grandparents who couldn’t take a long flight, the uncle with a visa that didn’t come through in time.

The couple gallery is the couple’s private link to every photo, sorted into the same folders you uploaded. They can mark favourites, which stay in sync across their phone and laptop, and share any photo with all guests. Forward the couple link to Nani in Leicester and she sees the whole wedding, function by function, in full resolution.

Udaipur to Bali, the same workflow

The light, the crowd and the connection change with every venue. The delivery doesn’t.

  • Udaipur and Jaipur palace hotels. Long guest lists, four or five functions, heavy jewellery and dim courtyards. Our face recognition is 99.99% accurate on real wedding photos, including side profiles and low light.
  • Goa beach weddings. Harsh afternoon sun and sunglasses at the haldi. Glasses don’t stop a match.
  • Rann of Kutch tents. Patchy signal, so upload in parts or after you get back to Bhuj.
  • Dubai and Bali. Guests flying in from three or four countries. They verify their mobile number with a code on WhatsApp, with SMS as a backup, then take a selfie.

Wherever the wedding is, the photos are stored on our servers in Mumbai, and every media link is signed and expires after an hour.

How it works

  1. Set up the event before you fly

Create the event, add folders for each function, and set your logo and watermark. It takes a few minutes from your studio.

  2. Upload from wherever you are

Hotel room, airport lounge or your studio back home. Uploads resume after a dropped connection, so you never start over.

  3. Click Find faces

Once the upload is done, SpotMe matches every face across the wedding. Guests see nothing until you share the link.

  4. Share one link

Drop it in the wedding WhatsApp group. Guests verify their number, take a selfie and see only their photos, in any country.

What’s included that others charge for

Every plan, including Free, has all of this. You only choose how much storage you want.

  • Original files, in and out

Upload full-resolution JPEG, HEIC or TIFF. Guests download the original or a mobile copy, never a squashed preview.

Usually elsewhere:Resized to around 2,000 px, with full resolution as a paid extra

  • No limit on photos

40,000+ photos in a single upload. You pay for storage, never per photo.

Usually elsewhere:Plans priced by photo count or credits

  • Storage you can reuse

Delete an event and its space comes straight back. Upload, delete and re-upload all year.

Usually elsewhere:Used-up uploads stay used up

  • Unlimited guests and face searches

A 2,000-guest reception costs the same as a 50-guest haldi. WhatsApp OTPs are included.

Usually elsewhere:Guest caps, scan limits or per-message fees

  • Every feature on every plan

Watermark, branding, couple gallery and guest leads are on Free too. Plans only differ in storage.

Usually elsewhere:Branding and watermark locked to higher tiers

  • A real gallery for the couple

Every function in your folders, synced favourites and a people view, separate from guest galleries.

Usually elsewhere:One shared gallery with a privacy toggle

  • Our own AI, on our own servers

In-house trained models, no third-party AI providers. Guest selfies are never stored.

Usually elsewhere:Worth asking where your clients’ faces are processed

From photographers using it

  • “We shoot a lot of weddings in the Rann tents. Guests fly back to Mumbai, Bengaluru and Dubai the next morning. One link that works wherever they are beats chasing ten WhatsApp groups.”

Chirag ThakkarChirag Thakkar Films, Bhuj, Gujarat
  • “A 9,000-photo destination wedding at a lakeside palace hotel. Most guests had their photos before checkout on the last day.”

Rohan MehtaKohl & Kesar Films, Udaipur, Rajasthan
  • “Indian weddings here run three or four days too, and guests come from three countries. One link works for all of them, and the grandparents don’t have to download anything.”

Common questions

Can guests who live outside India use the gallery?

Yes. The gallery opens in any phone browser, and guests verify their mobile number with a one-time code on WhatsApp, with SMS as a backup. Studios in Canada and the USA use SpotMe for exactly this.

What happens if the hotel Wi-Fi drops halfway through an upload?

The upload pauses and carries on from where it stopped when the connection returns. You don’t need to re-select files or start again.

How soon after the wedding can guests get their photos?

As soon as you upload and click Find faces. Many photographers do it on the last night so guests have their photos before checkout; others upload from the studio a day or two later.

Where are the photos stored for a wedding in Dubai or Bali?

On AWS in Mumbai, in private storage. Every photo link a guest opens is signed and expires after an hour, wherever they are.

Does a bigger guest list from more countries cost more?

No. Every plan includes unlimited guests and face searches, and WhatsApp codes are included. You pay for storage, not for guests or photos.
