Publish from Lightroom Classic straight to the gallery
You already finish every wedding in Lightroom. The SpotMe publish service sends your edited collections straight into the right event folders, so there is no exporting to a hard drive and dragging files into a browser at midnight.
Free forever on 10 GB. Every feature on every plan.

At a glance
Collections become folders
Map your Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet and Reception collections to event folders once. Publishing fills them.
Re-publish changed edits
Tweak the white balance on 40 sangeet photos and publish again. Only the changed photos are sent.
No export step
No JPEG folder on the desktop, no browser upload. Lightroom renders and sends in one go.
Cutting out the export-then-upload step
The usual routine after a wedding edit goes like this. Export each function from Lightroom to a folder on the desktop. Wait. Open the browser, create folders in the gallery, drag each export in. Wait again. Notice a skin tone you don’t like on the bride’s close-ups, fix it in Lightroom, export those again, find and replace them by file name.
The SpotMe plugin turns that into one action. Lightroom renders your edits and sends them straight to the event, into the folder each collection is mapped to. When you fix something, Lightroom marks the photo as changed and the next publish replaces it.

How the publish service works
The plugin adds SpotMe to the Publish Services panel in Lightroom Classic, next to the ones you may already use for other services.
Set up once
Install the plugin through Lightroom’s Plug-in Manager and sign in with your SpotMe account. Choose your export settings the way you normally would: full-size JPEG, quality, output sharpening.
For each wedding
Pick the SpotMe event, then create a published collection for each function. Each collection maps to a folder in that event, so your Haldi collection fills the Haldi folder and your Reception collection fills Reception. Drag in your picks and click Publish.
When you change an edit
Lightroom lists edited photos under “Modified Photos to Re-Publish”. Click Publish again and SpotMe replaces those files in place. Nothing else is re-sent.
After you publish
Publishing puts your photos in the event. It doesn’t start face matching by itself. When the whole wedding is in, open the event on the dashboard and click Find faces. If you publish more photos or replace edits afterwards, click it again and the new photos are matched too.
Photos arrive as full-resolution files, so guests and the couple can still download the original or the mobile copy. If you use a SpotMe watermark, switch off Lightroom’s own watermark in the publish settings so your logo doesn’t appear twice.

What you need
- Lightroom Classic on Mac or Windows. The plugin doesn’t work with the cloud-based Lightroom app or Lightroom Mobile, which don’t support publish services.
- A SpotMe account on any plan, including Free. The plugin is included at no extra cost.
- An event already created in SpotMe, so you have somewhere to publish to.
Prefer to upload from the browser for some events? You can mix both. Photos uploaded either way end up in the same folders.
How it works
Install and sign in
Add the plugin in Lightroom Classic’s Plug-in Manager and connect your SpotMe account.
Map collections to folders
Pick the event and create a published collection for each function.
Publish, then Find faces
Click Publish in Lightroom, then click Find faces on the dashboard once everything is in.
From photographers using it
“On my old app full-resolution downloads cost extra, so I only uploaded the selected photos. Here I upload the full set, around 6,000 for a normal Rajkot wedding, and I don’t think about it anymore.”
Jignesh BhattBhatt Digital Studio, Rajkot, Gujarat “Our second shooter uses an iPhone for candids, so HEIC files get mixed into every upload. It just takes them. Small thing, but the last app made me convert everything first.”

Common questions
Does it work with Lightroom CC or Lightroom Mobile?
No. Publish services only exist in Lightroom Classic, so the plugin needs Lightroom Classic on Mac or Windows.
Does publishing start face matching automatically?
No. Once the photos are in, click Find faces on the event in your dashboard. Click it again after publishing more photos.
What happens when I re-publish an edited photo?
SpotMe replaces the old file with the new edit in the same folder. Only the photos Lightroom marks as modified are sent again.
What size and format are photos published at?
Whatever your publish settings say. We recommend full-size JPEG so guests and the couple can download full-resolution originals.
Is the plugin a paid add-on?
No. It is included in every plan, including Free.
