What you can do from the app
SpotMe Studio covers the small jobs that used to wait until you got back to the studio:
- Check processing. See how far an upload has got, and whether Find faces has finished on last week’s wedding.
- Copy and share links. Send the couple link to the bride, or drop the guest link into the family WhatsApp group, from the event screen.
- See guest leads. Names, verified numbers and how many photos each guest viewed and downloaded. Tap a number to call or message.
- Upload selects. Add a handful of edited photos from your phone to any event folder.
You sign in with your normal SpotMe account, and everything matches what you see on the web dashboard.
The moments it actually helps
The groom’s brother calls while you’re at a pre-wedding shoot in a palace hotel and asks for “that photo link again”. You open the app, tap the event, share. Done before the next frame.
The couple wants a few edited favourites to post the morning after the wedding. You finish them in Lightroom Mobile or Snapseed on your phone and upload them to a Teasers folder in the event, so the bride has them before the full gallery is ready.
A client is sitting across from you at an enquiry meeting. You open a past couple gallery on your phone and hand it over. The app is quicker than finding a laptop and a Wi-Fi password.
What the app is not for
A full wedding is still a laptop job. Uploading 6,000 edited photos from a phone would drain the battery and your mobile data, so for complete events use the web dashboard or the Lightroom plugin. The app’s upload is meant for selects, not whole weddings.
The app also doesn’t send photos to guests while the event is still on. As always, you upload after the event and click Find faces, and guests see their photos once matching finishes.

Do guests or the couple need to install the app?
No. SpotMe Studio is only for photographers and their teams. Couples and guests open their galleries in any phone browser from the link you share.
Is the app free?
Yes. SpotMe Studio is included in every plan, including Free. Download it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your SpotMe account.
Can I upload a whole wedding from my phone?
The app is built for selects, a few dozen photos at a time. For a full wedding, use the web dashboard or the Lightroom plugin on your laptop.
Can my team members use the app?
Yes. Team members sign in with their own accounts and see the events and actions their role allows.
Does the app show guest leads?
Yes. Each event shows guest names, verified mobile numbers and how many photos each guest viewed and downloaded.
