Four functions, four venues, three hours of traffic
Mumbai photographers know the Western Express Highway better than most cab drivers. A big Gujarati or Marwari wedding here often spreads across three or four venues over as many days, and the families are spread out too, from Colaba to Thane to Kharghar.
Guest lists of 1,000 to 1,500 are normal, and you come back with 10,000 photos or more. Families used to ask for a pen drive for each side, then someone had to drive across the city to deliver them.

Banquet halls, ballrooms and the 10 pm cut-off
Most Mumbai functions happen indoors: banquet halls, hotel ballrooms, the occasional club lawn. That means mixed light from chandeliers and LED walls, mirrored stages, and a reception packed into a few hours, especially at open lawns where loud music has to stop at 10 pm.
The result is a lot of crowded stage photos with twenty faces in each. Our face recognition is 99.99% accurate on real wedding photos like these, including side profiles, glasses and heavy jewellery, so the aunt standing third from the left still finds herself.
What to do in the monsoon lull
Weddings in Mumbai slow right down from June to September. It is a good time to set things up properly before the season starts after Dev Uthani Ekadashi.
- Add your studio name, logo, contact details and watermark so every gallery carries your branding.
- Put the galleries on your own domain.
- Install the Lightroom Classic plugin and publish straight to an event.
- Delete last season’s weddings that families have already downloaded. The storage comes back.

Common questions
Can your team meet us in person in Mumbai?
Our team is in Ahmedabad, so we set up first events for Mumbai studios on a video call, free on every plan. It takes about half an hour, and WhatsApp support is there after that.
Can one event hold functions shot at different venues and on different days?
Yes. Upload each function into its own folder within the same event. Guests see every photo they appear in, from every venue.
Our clients are very private. Who can see the photos?
Each guest sees only the photos they are in, plus anything the couple shares with everyone. The full wedding is only on the couple’s private link, and guest selfies are never stored.
Where is the data stored?
On AWS in Mumbai. Storage buckets are private, every photo link is signed and expires after an hour, and our face recognition runs on our own servers.
Can I put the gallery on my own domain?
Yes. Custom domains are available, along with your logo, studio name, contact details and watermark on every plan.
