Tell every guest on WhatsApp when their photos are ready

Guests live on WhatsApp, so that is where the news should reach them. Once you upload and click Find faces, every guest who has verified their number gets a short message from your studio with a link to their own photos.

Free forever on 10 GB. Every feature on every plan.

At a glance

  • Sent when matching finishes

Messages go out after Find faces is done, so nobody taps a link and lands on an empty gallery.

  • Your studio in the message

Every template carries your studio name and the couple’s event, and the link opens your branded gallery.

  • No per-message fees

WhatsApp delivery is included in every plan. A 1,500-guest reception costs the same as a 40-guest haldi.

The gap between “uploaded” and “seen”

You finish editing on Thursday, upload on Friday night and send the link to the couple. Then it waits. The couple forwards it on Sunday, one family group sees it, the other side of the family never does, and a month later the bride’s chachi asks you at another wedding whether the photos are out yet.

WhatsApp delivery removes that wait. Every guest who has already verified their number on your event gets told directly, from your studio, the moment their photos can be seen. They don’t depend on someone remembering to forward a link.

Who gets a message, and when

Messages only go to guests who have verified their mobile number with a one-time code on your event. In practice that means:

  • Guests who registered at the venue by scanning your QR code at the reception counter or on the table cards. They took their selfie there, and the message tells them their photos have arrived. See QR code photo sharing.
  • Guests from an earlier function on a multi-day wedding. When you add the reception photos a week after the haldi gallery went out, they hear about it.

Nothing is sent while you are still uploading. Messages go out after you click Find faces and matching finishes, so the link always opens on real photos. Guests who never verified a number aren’t messaged at all, and we never message numbers you type in by hand.

What the message says

WhatsApp only lets businesses send messages from pre-approved templates, so you can’t write a free-form paragraph. You choose from our approved templates, and each one fills in your studio name, the guest’s name and the event. A typical one reads:

Hi Meera, your photos from Ishita & Rohan’s wedding are ready. Tap to see them: photos.yourstudio.com/… From Frames by Kavya.

With a custom domain connected, the link uses your address. Either way it opens straight into that guest’s own gallery. On the same phone they used before, they skip the selfie and see their photos.

One message, not a campaign

This is a delivery note, not marketing. Each guest gets a message when their photos are ready for that event, and that is it.

If a guest opts out, we stop messaging them and don’t message them again for your events. If you would rather not use it for a particular wedding (some families prefer the couple to share the news themselves), switch it off for that event before you run Find faces.

When you do want to reach past guests with an offer, that is what guest leads and your own WhatsApp Business account are for. We keep the two separate so your delivery messages stay trusted.

How it works

  1. Guests verify their number

At the venue through your QR code, or on an earlier gallery link for the same event.

  2. You upload and click Find faces

Upload the edited photos whenever they are ready, then start matching from the dashboard.

  3. Messages go out

When matching finishes, each verified guest gets a WhatsApp message with a link to their own photos.

From photographers using it

  • “The sangeet alone was around 3,800 photos and I was dreading the “bhaiya, where are my photos” messages. I dropped one link in the family WhatsApp group. By next morning most guests had downloaded theirs, and two of them asked for our rates.”

  • “We shoot a lot of weddings in the Rann tents. Guests fly back to Mumbai, Bengaluru and Dubai the next morning. One link that works wherever they are beats chasing ten WhatsApp groups.”

Common questions

Does WhatsApp delivery cost extra?

No. It is included in every plan, including Free, with no per-message fees and no cap on how many guests receive it.

Which number does the message come from?

From SpotMe’s verified WhatsApp Business account, the same one that sends guests their login codes. Your studio name is in the message and the link opens your branded gallery.

Can I write my own message?

WhatsApp requires businesses to use pre-approved templates, so you pick one of ours. Each template includes your studio name, the guest’s name and the event.

What if a guest doesn’t want these messages?

They can opt out from the message, and we won’t message them again for your events.

Are messages sent while I am still uploading?

No. Messages only go out after you click Find faces and matching finishes, so every link opens on photos that are ready.
